너희들이 제일 어려워하고 제일 힘들어한다는.. 그.. 전설의 빈칸추론을 타파해보자^^ 선생님을 잘 따라오면 빈칸을 봐도 벌벌 떨지 않고 자신감있게 풀어헤쳐나가는 네 모습을 발견할 수 있을거야!
일단 빈칸문제는 한 지문속에서 한 문장이나 한 단어 정도를 뻥 뚫어놓고 끼워맞춰! 라고 요구하는 문제야. 그리고 그 뻥 뚫려있는 빈칸은 대개 ‘주제’와 연관이 있어. 결국 이 문제는 뭐다? 주제찾기 인거지!
주제는 글쓴이가 강조하고 싶은 중요한 이야기야. 강조할 때 흔히 쓰는 방법이 뭐가 있더라? 바로 ‘반복’이 있어. 그래서 이 빈칸, 즉 주제를 찾기 위해서는 반복되는 말을 찾아내야 되는 거야. 반복하면서 주제를 강조하고, 그 주제가 바로 문제의 핵심인 빈칸인 것이지!
까다로운 문제인 만큼 문제도 많이 들고 왔고 푸는 방법도 4가지로 나눠서 가르쳐줄거야. 일단 오늘은 빈칸문제를 푸는 첫 번째 방식을 알려줄게.
첫 번째 방식은 1단계 2단계로 나눠서 문제를 풀 거야.
1 단계 : 빈칸 문장을 파악한다.
빈칸문제지문을 싹~다 읽고 빈칸을 맞췄다! 솔직히 그건 시간낭비야!
물론 굉장히 까다롭고 이해가 잘 안되는 문제라면 그렇게 풀어도 되겠지만 빈칸문제도 앞에서 풀었던 문제유형들처럼 풀어가는 패턴이 있어. 그 패턴을 잘 숙지하면 굳이 다 읽지 않더라도 풀어나갈 수 있어.
일단, 빈칸이 왜 있는지 알아야겠지? 목표의 정확한 설정을 위해서 그 문장의 내용이 설령 100% 이해되지 않더라도 빈칸이 있는 문장을 반드시! 먼저 읽고 대강이라도 그 의미를 파악해야 돼.
2 단계 : 빈칸 주위의 문장 중에서 유사 문장을 찾는다.
1. 문장 구조가 유사한 경우
a. 동사
b. 접속사
2. 의미가 유사한 경우
빈칸 주위에 정답을 제시하는 실마리가 있는 경우가 많아. 그래서 꼭 먼저 주위를 살펴야 해.
빈칸문장과 유사한 문장구조 (동사나 접속사가 비슷한 경우)를 찾거나 빈칸 문장과 뜻이 비슷한 문장을 찾아내면 돼.
특히 빈칸 문장 뒤에 문장이 한 문장밖에 안남는 경우에는 그 문장에서 정답이 나오는 경우가 많아-_-! (한 90%정도?)
